Voluma is a hyaluronic acid filler in the Juvederm Family of products from Allergan.
Dr. Newman uses this product to restore volume loss in the midface and cheek area with topical anesthesia in the office. Voluma has some unique properties with it cross linking structure which allows the natural hyaluronic acid to lift and maintain volume for up to two years with adequate correction.
Most patients will require between 2-3 cc (syringes) of product placed carefully to produce the desired lift and enhancement. Dr. Newman has extensive experience with Voluma, Sculptra, and Radiesse and will be able to determine which product or combination of products will help you achieve your goals.
